At GO! Southampton, we run and manage Visit Southampton, the official destination website for the city, and Your Southampton, a community based brand with a key focus on promoting local news, offers and city life to residents, workers and students in the city.
As a non-levy paying business, you’ll have access to a selection of our services. See below to discover what’s available to you.

Feature on our business listing directory by filling out a simple online form. Once
submitted we will add your listing to the website, and link to it when we mention your
business elsewhere on the website (blogs, campaigns, offers).You can also add up to five images – these should be landscape with a ratio of 3:2 and under 250KB, email them to marketing@gosouthampton.co.uk. Find the form at www.gosouthampton.co.uk/visit-southampton-form

We work with Data Thistle to provide comprehensive events listings via an API feed. If you are planning to host an event in the city, you can create a free event listing which will be included on our Visit Southampton events page.
To submit your event, go to: www.datathistle.com/visit-southampton
Submissions can take up to 72 hours to show on our feed and will be promoted on
wider platforms such as Data Thistle, hotel groups, transport operators and newspaper
groups.Please submit at least 10 days before the start date of the event. If you have
multiple events, you can work directly with Data Thistle who can pull your events from
your website. Get in touch with them at events@datathistle.com to organise this. -
The SO Card is free local discount card visitors can use at local businesses. Visitors will select an offer and show either the physical or digital card to a member of staff to redeem an offer.
Creating a discount or offer is a great opportunity to attract new visitors into your business and is free to use. You can create as many as you wish and for any product, service or experience you’d like.
What we need from you:
- Offer Title
- Offer Terms & Conditions
- 1-2 High Quality Images
Once received we will upload your offer to our offers page on the Visit Southampton website where we will then promote across our channels.

Local businesses in Southampton have a unique opportunity to attract the attention of thousands of cruise crew disembarking the ships year round. We are working closely with ABP Southampton to implement our year round Cruise Crew campaign which aims to help crew navigate the city, directing them to venues offering free WiFi, daily essentials and services through an interactive map.
As part of the campaign, local businesses can also create a special offer exclusive for crew. To redeem, crew will simply show their ID card to a member of staff.

If you have any news, promotions, events or services that you would like to tell other local businesses about, we can share your content in our monthly business bulletins. These are sent to over 630 businesses and over 1,000 contacts. We will need:
