Southampton Pride – September 2026

August 29 - August 30

Southampton Pride returns to the city centre this August for two days, marking 10 years since the first Pride event took place in the city in 2016. The annual celebration brings Southampton’s LGBTQIA+ community, allies and visitors together with a packed programme of live entertainment, community activities across Guildhall Square. The weekend also features the #SOProud Pride March through the heart of the city, creating a powerful celebration of visibility, equality and community. Read more on this here.

As a proud sponsor of this year’s event, BID members can join the march for free or book a stall at a discounted rate. More details provided below.

Want to get involved?

[APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED]: Southampton Pride returns to Guildhall Square for its 10th year (29 & 30 August). Levy Payers will receive a 10% discount (stalls serving alcohol not permitted). Spaces are limited so be sure to email stalls@southamptonpride.org by 30 June.

  • 6ft table: £240 (£216 after discount)
  • 12ft table: £360 (£324 after discount)

[APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED]: You can also participate in the Pride March for free (usually costed at £500). To register your place, email danny@southamptonpride.org and mention you are a GO! Southampton member. Deadline to apply is 31 July.

[Materials needed by 26 August]: GO! Southampton will also host a visitor information stand on the day. This stand will feature relevant BID member leaflets alongside wider visitor information for the city centre. If you are a visitor-facing business and would like to provide us with printed materials, please contact marketing@gosouthampton.co.uk.

Looking to host your own event?

You could be eligible to receive up to £6,000 in grant funding. Our 2026 Event Sponsorship scheme enables businesses and organisers to help get their event off the ground without facing major barriers or extensive grant writing.

To be eligible, your event must be free to attend and take place within the BID area. Applications for our third round of funding closes on 23 September, followed by our third round on 28 September. To find out, including eligibility and application links go here.
