My Electric Journey- Sparking Change

Southampton City Council Highways are delighted to be bringing this event to Southampton. This is a free event, which is being delivered with the support of Let’s Experience Electric.

From electric cars to electric buses and eBikes/scooters – the event will allow people to explore some of the benefits of EV adoption as well as other sustainable transport solutions. Along with other green energy solutions.

Visitors & businesses will have the opportunity to:

• Explore a wide range of EVs
• Speak to local dealers and industry experts about the latest advancements in EV technology
• Test drive multiple EVs
• Find out more about EV projects supported by SCC
• Highlight the rollout of the LEVI project in Southampton
• EV charging demonstrations.

Why should city centre businesses attend?

GO! Southampton asked the organisers for the city centre related elements of the event, and they kindly provided this insight to us. GO! can’t give away the detail just yet, but it is safe to say that there are some innovative plans which will be shared and Q&A sessions as part of the talks. Useful for people with teams which drive into the city, or those interested in the strategic picture of the city, specifically regarding sustainable travel.
