BID members are invited to join us on Wednesday 1 April 2026 from 5.30pm for our Spring Social  AGM at Boom Battle Bar, where you can enjoy networking, food & drink, fun & games, all in a relaxing environment.

Location: Boom Battle Bar, Level 4, Westquay South

What is an AGM?
AGM stands for Annual General Meeting. It is something we legally must do every year, to review the year and look at how money is being spent. We also share our Top Priorities for the next financial year. Attendees are also shown the list of Board Directors standing for re-election. These are the people representing your business at GO! Southampton Board Meetings, so it is your opportunity to vote on their re-election.

Only registered members of the BID will be able to vote. We will respond to all registrations to confirm if you are a registered member, and what to do if you are not. Members have the right to appoint a proxy of their choice.

What do I need to do before attending?

• Register via this Eventbrite page
• If more than one person is attending on behalf of a business, please let us know which attendee will be voting in the AGM. Email this information to info@gosouthampton.co.uk before the meeting.

Spring Social:

We will conclude the AGM business by 6.15pm when your spring social will begin!

The evening will include:

• Food and drinks
• Axe Throwing
• Karaoke
• Shuffleboard
• Networking with other city centre businesses
• Opportunity to speak with the BID team about services
