02 April 2025
Visitors to Southampton can hop along to this year’s free family Easter Trail from Friday 4th – Monday 21st April 2025 and help the Easter Bunny find his missing gardening tools.
Participants will follow a trail map, which can be picked up at various locations for free around the city or downloaded and printed at home. Adventurers will need to crack the clues along the way to find the Easter Bunny’s missing gardening tools, all of which have been displayed on posters in the windows of shops, bars and other venues around Southampton’s Cultural Quarter and Commercial Road.
The colourful posters will prominently displayed at each stop, featuring one of the Easter Bunny’s missing items. An Easter prize is waiting at the final stop, SeaCity Museum, once all the items have been found. There is also the chance to enter a prize draw to win a £100 gift voucher for Mayflower Theatre.
Organised by GO! Southampton, the city’s Business Improvement District, and hosted on the Visit Southampton website, the Easter trail will be available for exploration between the hours of 9am and 5pm from 4th – 21st April.
Stephen Manion, Executive Director of GO! Southampton, said: “Following last year’s successful Easter Trail, we’re delighted to see its return for 2025. It’s free and fun for all ages and it’s a great way to get people visiting the city centre over the Easter holidays. We’d love to see visitors staying for a bite to eat and enjoying some more of what Southampton has to offer.”
Maps will also be delivered to over 20 primary schools in Southampton, to go in book bags and displayed in reception areas. To find out more about the Easter Trail and where to download or collect a trail map, head to: Southampton’s Easter Trail | Visit Southampton.
