Introducing a brand-new community based social media platform, ‘Your Southampton’, which is set to be a one stop shop for all things Southampton.
Launched by GO! Southampton, the city’s Business Improvement District (BID), ‘Your Southampton’ will have channels across Facebook and Instagram for easy to find information for the whole community across the city.
Run and managed by GO! Southampton, who also run and manage Visit Southampton: the leading tourism website for the city, the channels will be a platform for offers, community news, events, travel updates, business interest and much more.
‘Your Southampton’ is designed for local residents, workers and students in the city centre and GO! Southampton says an important feature will be for the community to use it to share their own events and updates.
Flo Bevis, Marketing Manager for GO! Southampton said: “We’re all really excited about the launch of ‘Your Southampton’ which will be for the people who live and breathe the city.
“Our members will also be able to share their news, products, services and events to the local community, reaching a wider audience and promote all the wonderful things happening in the city.”
To celebrate the launch of ‘Your Southampton’, a prize draw is running to give the community the chance to win tickets to the much-anticipated Southampton Summer Session’s, taking place in June 2024 in Guildhall Square.
