Home to Southampton’s medieval city walls and waterfront, the Old Town has a vibrant mix of independent restaurants, global cuisines, live music venues, arts and culture, and centuries of heritage.

Offer highlights include:

  • 20% off tickets at The 1865 throughout September
  • 20% off general admission at High Score Arcades
  • 20% off food Monday – Friday, 12pm – 3pm at the Duke of Wellington
  • Kids go free (under 16) with a paying adult at Tudor House & Garden
  • Small Fish & Chips with a drink £13 / soft drink £10 at The Platform Tavern
  • One free hot drink between 10am – 12pm at God’s House Tower

Plus many more.

Love the Old Town will also include major city events, including Music in the City (12 September), Heritage Open Days (11 – 20 September) and the International Boat Show (18  – 27 September).

While visitors may want to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city’s bars and restaurants, Southampton is also proud to host Green Flag awarded parks, noted for their accessibility and high standards of quality and maintenance and Purple Flag for it’s night-time economy.

A brand-new Old Town guide will also be available at key city hotspots and attractions, making it easy for visitors to plan a day exploring the area. See the digital version here.

Stephen Manion, Executive Director at GO! Southampton, said: “We’re so pleased to see the return of the Old Town campaigns. Venues have reported a huge increase in footfall to several vibrant hotspots around the city with previous campaigns, as residents and visitors enjoy spending more time here.”

Daniel Crow of Gods House Tower said: “Were so lucky to live and work in such a fantastic city with a beautiful medieval old town at its heart. Being surrounded by our history is a great reminder that the Old Town is here for us all to enjoy and the Love The Old Town campaign gives the public an opportunity to explore this remarkable part of the city and grab a bargain at many of its venues.”
