Programme Manager (Diving) – Up to £30,000 a year
  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, organise, and oversee the delivery of the Diving Programme at The Quays Swimming & Diving Complex.
    • Lead team members in developing and implementing lesson plans, coaching strategies, and skill progression frameworks, inline with Swim England guidance.
    • Lead and manage a team of diving instructors and coaches.
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants through adherence to relevant guidelines and protocols, including having knowledge of Swim England Learn to Dive Awards.
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with participants, parents, and relevant stakeholders, including our resident dive club, Southampton Diving Academy.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the programme, making adjustments as needed to achieve optimal outcomes and Key Performance Outcomes, set by Active Nation and Swim England.

    Schools & Groups Sales Advisor – From £25,000 a year

  • Principle duties

  • Schools & Groups:

    • Support the Venue Managers in delivering a targeted and strategic programme of engagement, prospecting and partnership building, enabling Active Nation’s Outdoor portfolio to increase the number of school, group and corporate visitors to the activity centres year on year and to secure long-term income contracts
    • Proactively identify, profile and prioritise new leads through prospect researching
    • Maintain an active portfolio of small and mid-sized school & group customers, and research new leads increasing your own portfolio
    • Identify the most appropriate approaches for specific schools and groups to increase booking frequency and average spend and secure multi-year contracts
    • Establish and maintain close working relationships with the operational and business support staff across the outdoor portfolio, to ensure that sales proposals are developed in line with the vision of Active Nation’s outdoor portfolio

    Corporate Customers

    • Maintain and increase support from corporate customers and their staff through tailored partnerships and approaches
    • Ensure Corporate customers are kept up to date on the impact of their support
    • Develop Corporate support via face-to-face activity and digital channels

    The outstanding candidate will also:

    • Keep abreast of school specific activity and trends across the education sector
    • Understand and implement School PE & Sport Premium legislation
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of local educational provision in direct and none-direct competition
  • Learn to Swim Teacher – Southampton – £16.50 Hourly rate

  • `Duties“` – Provide swim instruction to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels – Develop lesson plans and provide feedback to swimmers to improve their skills – Ensure swimmer safety by enforcing all pool rules and regulations – Create a positive and encouraging learning environment for swimmers – Monitor swimmers’ progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly “`Requirements“` – Previous experience in sports coaching or swim instruction preferred – Ability to educate and communicate effectively with swimmers of different ages and skill levels – Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques – CPR and First Aid certification is a plus – Must be patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching swimming.
