RSA Challenge: Building With Nature

May 28 @ 5.30 pm – 8 pm

What if our buildings and public spaces made room for nature? Building with Nature brings together professionals from the built environment, natural world experts, community groups and local residents to explore how Southampton’s urban spaces can better support both people and biodiversity.

Through a series of short talks, you’ll hear fresh ideas on transforming buildings and public spaces into greener, more sustainable places. The session will then open up into a collaborative workshop, where attendees will help shape a shared vision for the city – identifying practical actions and bold ideas to create a greener Southampton.

This event is about turning ideas into action. Whether you’re interested in small, local improvements or contributing to larger, city-wide change, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of a collective manifesto for a more nature-friendly future.

The workshop is part of a wider programme delivered by RSA Southampton, exploring creative and environmental initiatives across the city. Building with Nature is supported by GO! Southampton, with potential for follow-up projects that contribute to long-term environmental and social goals of our 5 year plan.
