GO! Southampton is excited to launch a brand new FREE city-centre festival to Re:Claim the streets of Southampton on Saturday 25th September.

Re:Claim Street Festival is a brand new experience, taking over the city centre with music, sports, art, gaming and performance. While there’s lots for teens and young adults, it’s also a chance for people of all ages to step out of their comfort zones and discover something new, uncover more of what Southampton has to offer, and enjoy the thrills and vibrancy of street culture.

With activities stretching from Carlton Place down to Westquay Esplanade, Re:Claim brings together Southampton’s diverse creative forces and voices, alongside a few guest pieces from outside of the city, in a mainly free programme of sensational street experiences.

Highlights include The Arboria Luminarium, a stunningly colourful and sensory inflatable ‘cathedral’ from the Architects of Air (perfect for those oh-so important Instagram moments!) four music stages where local musicians from across musical genres perform, roaming guerilla-style street dance and theatrical performances stopping shoppers in their tracks and the toob Gaming Hub, with the latest in virtual reality and console gaming, giving players the chance to win some great prizes.
