As part of our Event Sponsorship Scheme, GO! Southampton is a proud sponsor of this year’s Southampton Pride event.

Southampton Pride is a fantastic free event that attracts people from far and wide to join the city in celebration of the LGBTQ+ communities. Held across two days, Pride’s jam-packed schedule is filled with live entertainment, food and drink stalls and of course the ever-popular Pride parade! Event perks for BID members:
This year’s #SOProud Pride March will leave from Queens Park from 11am on Saturday 23 August and work its way through High Street and Above Bar before arriving in Guildhall Square at around 12pm, to show visibility and solidarity for the LGBTQ+ community.

If you would like to show your support as a business or organisation, BID members can take part in the march for free but you must register in advance. To take part, please email flo.bevis@gosouthampton.co.uk by 10 August.

Promote your business on the Visit Southampton Stand:
On the day, we will be attending the event with our Visit Southampton stand to promote the businesses and key attractions to visitors. If you have any marketing leaflets or materials that you would like us to distribute at our stand, please email marketing@gosouthampton.co.uk.

GO! Southampton is committed to supporting all events that come to the city centre to help strengthen the city’s annual events programme and to attract new visitors into the city. Whether that’s a first-time community event or a large-scale annual festival, we regularly provide both in-kind and financial support to help them flourish and grow.
