Horizon Cruise Terminal [June 2025]

It’s not every day you get to attend a networking event in a cruise terminal! In partnership with ABP Southampton, we hosted our summer City Networking event at Horizon Cruise Terminal – Southampton’s newest and most environmentally advanced cruise facility. Alongside networking with fellow local businesses, attendees were able to browse exhibitor stands from NCP (National Car Parks), Voi Scooters, RIDES Cargo E-cargo Bikes and Morning Star Trust, with the chance to win a prize or two courtesy of The 1865.

Cruise Manager Fay Draper gave delegates a warm welcome, followed by guided tours for those keen to take a closer look at the terminal’s impressive facilities. Keeping with the maritime theme, Jasmine Hill from British Marine shared exciting updates on the Southampton International Boat Show, in September.

The event wrapped up with delegates chatting over freshly cooked Thai food from family-run Mama’s Kitchen, who brought along their food truck. Guests also had the opportunity to test-ride cargo bikes and speak with local firefighters, who brought along a fire engine for an up-close look.
