Youth Worker – Substance Use Support DASH

No Limits are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic worker, on a fixed term 12-month contract, to join the DASH team to support young people aged 11-24 with substance use issues.

This will entail taking a holistic and collaborative approach to case holding, and will involve assessing young people, devising care plans and offering specialist substance advice and information.

The successful applicant will have experience of youth work or substance use support and an understanding of issues impacting on a young person’s emotional well-being. They will be competent in working as part of multi-disciplinary team to ensure that young people and their families are able to access appropriate support. A working knowledge of criminal justice and mental health issues is desirable.

DASH is a community-based project. Use of a vehicle for work is essential.

Hours: 37 hours per week to include some occasional evenings and weekends
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays
Starting salary: SCP 9, £20,903 pro rata based on 37 hours FTE. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year.
