As Southampton’s leading arts and heritage venue and an ‘a space’ arts project, God’s House Tower (GHT) provide a variety of opportunities and roles ranging from freelance roles to volunteering and supporting the venue as a crew member.

Our Crew members are an integral part of delivering our vision for the venue, ensuring an outstanding experience for all visitors by undertaking an active customer focused role. Our aim is to recruit flexible individuals on a casual basis who can combine front-of-house service, exhibition invigilation, event management and cafe/bar service and who enjoy working as part of a small and dynamic team. This varied role is the perfect fit for an adaptable and reliable person who is committed to our work and ethos and will support the venue as it continues to grow. 

You will be part of a small and dedicated team covering a range of shifts and activities. Crew hours will be variable and offered on a casual basis, predominantly across our revised public opening hours Thursday – Sunday, with some regular evenings and other mid-week shifts when needed. Throughout 2025 as we grow the business our opening days and times are expected to change, adding in additional opening days as our activity and exhibitions demand, including test openings on Mondays that align to the cruise timetable, welcoming tourists into Southampton.
