About the role

Based in our central Admin team, you will be supporting our various delivery services – whilst studying for a Level 3 Business Administration qualification, which typically takes 12 to 18 months.

You’ll be developing knowledge and understanding of the support needs of staff, who are providing emotional, and crisis support to No Limits children and young people, whilst understanding the importance of dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

During your time as an apprentice, you will learn to successfully complete varied tasks and alongside completing your qualification in a timely manner. Tasks may include:

·        Answering phones

·        Greeting Visitors

·        Actioning email enquiries

·        Data Entry

·        Stationery ordering

·        Processing Referrals through No Limits Single Point of Access

·        Supporting the Office Manager with building maintenance requests.

·        There will be times when the Admin Office is extremely busy with requests with short deadlines so being calm under pressure and able to prioritise your workload will be essential.

Due to the nature of our work with children and young people – some of whom are vulnerable and at risk – you will come across sensitive and confidential information, and sometimes the information and / or situation can be challenging, complex and emotional. Full training and support is provided, as well as access to our Employee Assistance Programme.

The role can be very busy and challenging but also highly rewarding working within a supportive team.

We are committed to making a difference to the lives of the children and young people we work with, and as such you must show a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours which flow from the No Limits ethos. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is paramount.

We particularly welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and those who have had experiences similar to the children and young people we help and support. We are committed to creating a diverse environment where people can be their authentic self, where their experiences and opinions are valued, and we all are open to learn from each other.

As part of our team, you’ll receive a comprehensive induction and access to learning and development opportunities that are relevant to your role and to support your ongoing development.
