Administration Officer

No Limits is a leading youth services charity supporting children and young people across Southampton, Portsmouth, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.  

Role terms 

Starting salary: Band B – £23,151 to £23,831 (Full Time Equivalent – pro-rata for part-time) 

Hours: 30 to 37 hours per week: within Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm and includes one evening cover a week up to 8:15pm 

Role type: Permanent 

Place of work: 35 The Avenue, Southampton, SO17 1XN – temporarily based in The Boathouse, Cranbury Terrace, SO14 0LH, and occasionally working at our Advice Centre, High Street, Southampton, SO14 2DF to provide cover 

Essential car user: No 

Closing Date: 9am Monday 9th September ( please note, we reserve the right to close the advert early for a suitable candidate)

Interview Date: TBC 

 About the role 

Part of our Administration team, you’ll be providing administrative support to service delivery teams in No Limits.  

As an Administration Officer, you must:  

  • Have strong communication skills, including a good telephone manner and excellent empathy and listening skills when talking with young people, family members or professionals  
  • Be able to use your own initiative when dealing with difficult situations  
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection when storing / sharing confidential /sensitive data 
  • Accurately record and process data, with attention to detail and in a timely manner – all communications with young people, family, friends or professionals must be recorded on the No Limits database
