Southampton businesses are invited to the latest Workplace Travel Network meeting.

The Workplace Travel Network meets quarterly to share the latest developments in sustainable travel. It’s purpose is to help members realise the economic, wellbeing and environmental benefits of reducing commuter and business travel. Additionally, attendees share lessons and advice from their own workplaces to help others make effective changes.

Robin Chave, CEO at University of Southampton Science Park, will open the event with a welcome address, followed by presentations from:

• Jane Holt, Business Development Manager – The struggles the Park have around travel
• Clinton Styles, University of Southampton – Future Towns Innovation Hub

Agenda:

• National Highways – The Road to Net Zero. The National Highways Plan
• EAV Solutions – The Future of Micromobility
• Solent Transport’s Future Transport Zone updates on Solent Bike Share and MaaS, including Soft Launch
• Greener City Team (SCC) – Latest update on project activity

There’ll be opportunities for networking, to share experiences with and get advice from other members of the network.

We will have regular refreshment breaks and a buffet lunch will be provided.
