GO! Southampton has recruited Tom Madge as its new City Marketing Director from 2 December 2019.
Tom brings with him a wealth of experience and an impressive portfolio of brands – not least well-known Southampton business, Red Funnel, where he was Head of Marketing as well as sitting on the marketing panel for Visit Isle of Wight.
He has also held positions at Ageas Insurance and Christchurch and East Dorset Councils, as well as undertaking various roles at Bournemouth Borough Council / BH Live, predominantly within the events marketing team for the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and Bournemouth Pavilion.
In his new role at GO! Southampton, Tom will be responsible for building the Visit Southampton website and associated social media, leading campaigns to drive footfall and spend in city centre businesses and developing a Destination Management Plan (DMP) for the city.
